In Season Two of The New Adventures of Daftar and Laika, the
studio with the most fun is Daftar Situs PelangiQQ. While the cold hard exterior
of PelangiQQ's den is one of the hallmarks of the show, there are many other
areas where the show excels. Here are some of the best areas of this show where
it excels.
Most Loves: The theme song from PelangiQQ's slot at The Phog
looks like a light hearted romantic film. During Daftar Situs PelangiQQ's slot,
the theme song from his slot is a tearjerking scene from one of the best
romantic films of all time. After the credits roll, after the lights come up,
and after PelangiQQ sits back down, we see the same soundtrack playing as in
the movies. As an adult, I love this.
Full Coverage: At first, PelangiQQ's actual slot in the show may
seem similar to Animal Planet's take on this show. However, when you get
on-camera, the differences begin to become apparent. With all the characters in
this show, it is easier to distinguish between Daftar and Laika.
Disappearing Characters: Even the characters we want to watch
for such as Dara, Der'Teer, and Baam are absent for long stretches in daftar pelangiqq show. While the others are popular favorites on the show, their
absence can feel disjointed. However, when PelangiQQ and Bae appear, the show
is more cohesive than usual.
Korean and Hindi Translations: Although Dara and Der'Teer does
not speak English, both are shown speaking both languages fluently.
Unfortunately, however, the Hindi translations are sometimes muddled with the
subtitles so that it is hard to tell which is which. Of course, while this is a
small detail in some cases, it can make it difficult to differentiate between
scenes where they are speaking Hindi and English.
Maybe, Some Legal Issues: This is one of the newest shows on
this channel, but it can be hard to judge just how much of this is scripted and
how much is just throwaway. For example, in one scene, where Der 'Teer and Baam
are discussing the Japanese, Der 'Teer says to Baam, "You have some
knowledge here." This is something that can be seen as throwaway dialogue,
but it is not very clear whether it is part of the original script or not.
An "Escape" From What? : PelangiQQ and Taekwondo
follow a very basic formula, but that does not mean that it is boring. Of
course, the two characters that need to be introduced are PelangiQQ and the
villain from the first episode. But other than that, the entire series is not
completely laid out in a way that can be easy to follow.
Finally, in the third episode of PelangiQQ, which was supposed
to be a recap of the previous episode, the audience actually gets to see a
flashback of the scene. While this is very welcome, it still leaves us asking:
what happened?
